Dedication of the WAVES Sugar Camp cabin

The Sugar Camp cabin, one of the 50 which were homes to the WAVES during World War Two, was moved to Carillon Historical Park on April 7, 2004.

6 June 2004: The Sugar Camp/WAVES Cabin, now residing at Carillon Historical Park in Dayton, is dedicated. Brady Kress, Director of CHP, delivers a message of welcome before those present can tour it for the first time.

Mary Karr, then the Direction of Community Relations for NCR Corporation, speaks of the importance of the community learning the story of the wartime work at NCR.

Inside the cabin is a display telling the story of the code breaking work at NCR.
