 WHAT MAKES THE CHURCH INVITING?

It’s the presence of Christ . . . meeting our deepest needs with grace and guidance that cannot be found in what the secular world offers.

It’s the people . . . personalizing faith into heartfelt greetings, sincere respect for each one’s unique journey of faith, a vigor to share this message of transforming love, and helpful deeds of compassion and service.

It’s the program . . . leading persons to a genuine commitment to Christ and faith development that equips our walk in His light so that we experience “the breadth, length, height and dept of the fullness of God”.

It’s the building . . . blending the old (first here in 1833 when Centerville was just a crossing on two dirt roads, to the older portion built in 1924, to the stone building built in 1974) with the newest brick portion (for fellowship, for education and for modern offices) built in 2001.

 WELCOME to Centerville United Methodist Church, the church located at the heart of downtown Centerville, Ohio with a heart for serving God in our church, our community and the world.

Centerville United Methodist Church was established in the early 1800’s and continues a long tradition of helping people to know Jesus Christ personally and to live their lives in light of their relationship with God. We provide many opportunities and activities for spiritual growth through individual and family worship and individual and group study to connect faith and daily living.

Centerville United Methodist Church is intentional in our efforts to reach out and receive with joy all who will respond. Through worship you will be encouraged to strengthen your relationship with God and invited to commit your life to God’s love through Jesus Christ. Through Christian Education you will have many opportunities to grow in knowledge of God and Christ and build a strong spiritual foundation. You will have the opportunity to establish relationships with other seekers just like yourself who will encourage and support you in your efforts to live lovingly and justly in your homes, at your work place and in the world.
