MISSION STATEMENT

Adult Ministries exists at Centerville United Methodist Church to nurture those people who come searching for a relationship with God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. The primary purpose of Adult Ministries is to provide opportunities for people to experience Christian love, develop personal spiritual growth and express their faith through service to others.

BASIC OBJECTIVES

We welcome people from the entire body of Christ who come SEEKING spiritual growth and unconditional love. We serve them through education, support and personal attention to their needs.

We nurture these people in such a way that they can come to BELIEVE they can develop a personal relationship with God and Jesus Christ.

We recognize these people as DISCIPLES as they accept what they have learned and developed, then taking it out to share with others in the church and the community.

We provide opportunities for these people to commit their lives to SERVANT LEADERSHIP roles through teaching, supporting, coordinating and implementing ministries to which they are called and for which they have developed a passion.
