Network administrators will be performing maintenance starting at 11:00 PM Thursday (7/13/06) with an anticipated end time of 3:00 AM Friday (7/14/06). Upgraded firmware will be installed in our redundant network equipment requiring the devices to be restarted. Minimal if any impact to services is anticipated. Upgraded firmware will also be installed in one of our firewall devices affecting all customers using our shared Microsoft SQL systems. There is a major upgrade to firmware on one of our main aggregation routers that will result in a service outage to all ADSL and most T1 clients (except those T1 clients in Kettering or Springfield). If your ADSL in inoperative, please try powering off your DSL modem and router for 30 seconds and powering it back on to reconnect the link without requiring any changes. Because of this upgrade, our help desk support staff will be available until midnight. Systems Administrators will be applying Microsoft Monthly Hotfixes which may cause some minor interruptions with shared and managed Windows servers. Please see http://www.microsoft.com/security for more information about these fixes. Several additional maintenance activities are scheduled that will affect some customers to be contacted directly. All maintenance is being performed to improve our services to our customers and to prevent unscheduled outage events. DONet regrets any inconvenience our maintenance activities may cause to our customers. Should you have any questions please contact our Technical Support Team at 937-226-6896 or support@donet.com. |
