DONet employees personally contributed $1,200 in September 2005 to the American Red Cross to help people affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The American Red Cross estimated that more than $2 billion would be necessary to meet the immediate emergency needs of Hurricane Katrina survivors, and hundreds of billions of dollars will be needed to rebuild the lives of everyone affected over the next several years.
